" You choose the truck. We'll build the flatbed on a GMC, Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Freightliner, International or other brand truck. Beyond it's sharp looks, the Strongback™ features all marine grade aluminum construction starting with a frame made of 6" structural T6 extruded aluminum "C" channel side rails.
Whether you're hauling heavy steel or bales of hay, the Strongback™ flatbed will shoulder your load. 
Lightweight aluminum is key to savings: If you think about it, most of the time even the serious users don't have a full load on their truck. If you are using your flatbed for delivery's you are returning empty so you're empty 50% of the time. If you are the moderate user you are empty 75% or more of the time. So, why pay extra to haul a heavy steel flatbed around? True, the aluminum flatbed cost more to start with but you know you will get a little of your money back every time you start your engine, especially with today's fuel prices.
So, spend a little up front and save on fuel, wear and tear on your tires and drive train, get a higher resale value when it's time to sell, there's no paint to scratch, and we look good. But most of all, when you do need to haul something, you can carry more weight with an aluminum flatbed vs. steel flatbeds because you are not so heavy to start with. This may even save you a second trip, which saves you again. However, we know there are times when steel does make more sense. So, if steel is what you require, we make steel truck flatbeds too.

Strap winch's are an easy add-on with our six inch structural channel. Simply drill and bolt. With a welded cross member every 12 inches you can tighten the winch-straps without fear of tweaking the side rails. No rivets to pop or stretch. Pinto hitch also shown. |
 | Need extra fuel? We don't make fuel tanks so we went to the experts that do. Transfer Flow" designed a 50 gallon system for us that hooks up with the factory tank we really like. And it more than doubles your driving range. We stock and install them at our factory. Note: The old style "gravity fill" auxiliary tanks cause havoc with the computerized tanks in newer trucks. The gravity feed systems keep the tank full for so long the computer thinks something is wrong and error messages start flying, disabling your fuel gauge. So beware. | |
